Sophomores Ally Tatum and Logan Langewisch took to the trails at Lynn Creek Park in Grand Prairie yesterday at the Region II Cross Country meet. This was Tatum’s first appearance and Langewisch’s second trip in as many years. Langewisch saw better running conditions compared to previous outings as the rain held off, but cloudy skies provided good conditions for racing. Tatum kicked off the morning in the girls race were she covered the two mile course in 13:10 a personal best for 38th place out of 179 runners. Langewisch followed Tatum performance with a great race of his own. He covered the 5k course in 20:19 for 119th place out of 182 runners as well as running a personal best on this course. Tatum and Langewisch both ran well as well as gained valuable racing experience for next season.
