Under clear skies and chilly temps, Nathan Green capped off his High School career with a return trip to Round Rock for the State Championships on Friday, November 5th. Green complete the 5k course in 17:32 for a 55th place finish besting his 64th place finish from a year ago. The race saw 151 runners race, with the top 28 runners running sub 17 minutes. Lizzy Still made her first trip to Round Rock, and raced to a 25th pace finish in 12:28. Still’s two-mile race saw 151 runners complete the course and the top seven runners run sub 12 minutes. Both Green and Still ran good technical races, using several points on the course to advance their position as well as having good starts to their races.
