Hallsville Meet Results

The Roughnecks and Ladynecks returned to action this weekend at the Hallsville Flying H Invitational. This was one of largest races of the season with 43 schools represented throughout the two days of races. The course features dirt and grass trails with rolling hills. Comparatively this is a slightly harder course than some of the flat grassy courses the runners face during the season. Logan Langewisch led the Roughnecks this week with a 84th place out of 178 runners finish in 21:03. Cooper Tucker finished in 21:21 for 95th place. Tucker was followed by Nathan Watson, 22:02 for 116th place, and Kaleb Glenn in 132nd place for a time of 22:47. Luke Bueno rounded out the team scoring in 153rd place for 24:15. In the girls race Ally Tatum finished in 8th place out of 143 runners in a time of 14:05. Tatum was followed by Kylie Caraway in 43rd place for a time of 14:49 and Lizzy Still, 16:29, for 74th place. The junior high runners took to the course on Saturday morning with cool temperatures. Maddie Hart led the Ladynecks again this weekend with a 30th place finish in 16:37 out of 180 runners. Miranda Frazier also finished the two-mile course in 22:06 for 145th place. Nathan Stringer led the Roughnecks this week in the largest race of the season with 235 runners crossing the line. Stringer finished in 71st place in a time of 15:31. Emry Morris followed in 16:51 for 120th, Cole Jordan in 17:10 for 141st place. Brynton Shelton finished in 158th place in a time of 17:37. Rounding out the team scoring for the Roughnecks was Eli Fritsche with a time of 19:05 in 198th place. Stoney Larison finished in 201st place in a time of 19:11. Shay Richardson finished in 206th place for a time of 19:47, Michael Lee, 209th, 20:03, and Maddox Paul in 211th for 20:04. The teams will travel to Quitman on Saturday, September 16th. This will be a new course for the all the runners.
