Brookhill Meet Results

The Ladynecks and Roughnecks competed in the Brookhill Warrior Run on Saturday, September 2nd and came home with several individual medalists for top 15 finishes. Ally Tatum and Cooper Tucker lead the runners in the Varsity divisions. Tucker placed 10th out of 31 runners in a time of 20:33. He was followed by Logan Langeswisch in 14th pace in a time of 21:06 for the hilly three mile course. In the Varsity girls race Ally Tatum finished in fourth place with a time of 13:57. Tatum was followed by Kylie Caraway in 12th place for a time of 14:49 and Lizzy Still in 17th place for a time of 16:04 for the two mile race. The JV boys collected the team title and coveted “cup trophy” with a team score of 23. Keenan Jalomo placed first in a time of 19:55, Nathan Watson, second place, 22:27, and Kaleb Glenn, third place in a time of 22:39. Luke Bueno finished in seventh, 23:27, and Jackson Standard, 10th in a time of 24:34 out of 30 runners. The Junior High runners made their debut this weekend with many running in their first cross country race. In the girls race Maddie Hart placed 10th in a time of 16:11 while Miranda Frazier placed 36th in a time of 20:40. In the boys race, Nathan Stringer led the Roughnecks with a 13th place finish in 14:45. Stringer was followed by Emry Morris in 35th place, 16:13, Jayden Aguilar in 40th, 16:45, Brynton Shelton in 50th, 16:45, and Eli Fritsche in 69th pace, 18:26, to round out the team scoring for the Roughnecks. Stoney Larison finished in 73rd place for 18:54, Shay Richardson 77th, 19:04, and Michael Lee 80th, in a time of 19:29 for the two mile course. The JH boys placed 5th as a team with a score of 162. This was a good start to the season for the junior high runners. The teams will travel to Hallsville next weekend to compete on a course that winds through woods and fairly flat grassy terrain. The High school runners will compete on Friday, while the Junior High Runners will race on Saturday morning.
