Tyler Legacy Meet Results

It was an early morning at Lindsey Park in Tyler as the Cross Country teams competed in their largest race of the season. In the JV boys race Keenan Jalomo finished in 18:34 for seventh place. Cooper Tucker raced in his first three mile course, crossing the line in 19:49 for 20th place. Tucker was followed by sophomore Logan Langewisch in 23rd place in at time of 19:58. The rest of the JV team was also competing in their first three mile race. Luke Bueno finished in 21:57 for 78th place, Kaleb Glenn in 22:58 for 104th, and Jackson Standard finished in 129th, 24:26. The JV team finished in 7th place with a score of 190. In the Varsity girl’s race Ally Tatum took home hardware for the second time this season with a 20th pace finish in 14 minutes. Tatum was followed by freshman Kylie Caraway, 15:10, for 66th place. Lizzy Still raced to 74th place in 15:31. She was followed by Sophie Fisher in 15:35 for 77th place. The girls race saw 178 runners cross the finish line, and the boys race saw 178 runners complete the course. The teams will be at the Brookhill Warrior Run, Saturday, September 2nd. This will be a new course for the teams to compete on. The Junior High runners will also compete in their first meet of the season at Brookhill.
