Union Grove Race Recap

The White Oak Cross Country teams kicked off the 2022 season this weekend by racing at the Union Grove Cross Country meet. Logan Dugger kicked off his senior year with a 28th place finish in the varsity boys race in a time of 19:13. This was also a personal best for Dugger. The varsity girls started the morning off for White Oak with two medalists. Lizzy Still placed fifth in a time of 13:00. Still was followed by Abby Lobue for 10th place in a time of 13:54. In the JV boys race Logan Langewisch and Nathan Watson also made their high school debut, and collected some hardware in the process. Langewisch covered the two mile course in 13:20 for 7th place, and Watson in 13th place in a time of 13:53. The Ladynecks and Roughnecks will travel to Gilmer for the Buckeye Invitational this weekend. The junior high runners will be making their racing debut with the first races of the morning.
