The runners competed well at the Gladewater meet this weekend. The Varsity boys placed 2nd as a team with several runners collecting some medals. The girls did not compete as a team this week as we were a few runners shy of a full team, but we still had several medal. At the time of this post the official JH results were not in yet. I will include what I have and update when I receive the official race results.

This weekend the JH does not race and the Varsity runners will compete at Garden Valley in Lindale. The first race is at 8:15 with the big school races. It is a rolling start and we are the 3rd and 4th races. I think we will race sometime between 8:45 and 9:00 depending on the flow of the races. We will pick up something to eat, and return to school by lunch time. Each runners needs to bring me $6 cash by Thursday to cover their meal.
Directions to Garden Valley: Take I-20 West past Lindale. Exit Hwy 110. Turn left (south) on to Hwy 110. From here, it’s a short distance to FM 1955. Turn right onto FM 1955 and drive about one mile to the main gate of Garden Valley.
