Tyler Lee Invitational Meet Results

The White Oak Cross Country team enjoyed cooler temperatures and cloudy skies at the campus of UT Tyler this morning. The Ladynecks and Roughnecks started their morning with the first race of the day in the 5k Open Division. Traditionally this is a huge meet with fast times. By the end of the day more than 1400 runners and 50 teams would compete. Dylan Harris and Cryslan Tucker led the charge this morning. Harris finished 21st in a time of 17:39, improving on this time last week. Cryslan earned her first hardware of the season placing 9th in a racing time of 20:25. The girls race would see 114 competitors complete the course, followed by 174 runners in the boys race. This week the runners will be idle and return to action at the notorious Pine Tree Pig Trot and Puddle Jump at Katy’s Ranch in Kilgore on September 24th. The Junior High runners will also make their racing debut.
